About Learn to Skate

Each week includes 30 minutes of group instruction followed by 30 minutes of practice ice time. Skate rentals are included, along with a pass for five public skate sessions.

Learn to Skate is designed to build a strong foundation in basic skating skills while helping participants develop a love for being on the ice. Classes are open to skaters ages 4 and up, and participants are grouped by both age and skill level. This program is the ideal starting point whether your interest is in hockey or figure skating. Adult group classes are also offered during the Wednesday sessions.

Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and getting skates on. Gloves, long socks, and helmets are recommended, especially for beginners.
